Vicarage Farm has a centuries old spiritual tradition; it was the Sunday meeting place for the farming community of Wheston and also provided produce for the local Parish Church in Tideswell, the Cathedral of the Peak. Since coming to Vicarage Farm in 2011, we have opened our accommodation and facilities to people seeking retreat from busy lives, challenging situations and personal difficulties.
Set in a location of natural beauty and peace, we offer short stays for individuals and small groups. You can have time out for reflection and restoration or be more active and enjoy the glories of the Peak District from our doorstep.
You are welcome to bring your own group and we can provide hospitality and catering. We are also happy to sit and listen, pray and talk with you. Ann is a trained counsellor and we lived overseas for many years so we understand some of the joys and stresses of work and family life in cross cultural contexts. If you think Vicarage Farm could help you, your church group, family or colleagues, do get in touch.
If you are walking the Peak Pilgrimage and would like accommodation, please do get in touch.
