Family attractions within a 10m radius include the underground show caverns of Castleton, Donkey Sanctuary, and a chance to meet the otters and owls at the Chestnut Centre. Don’t miss the Bakewell Show - first week of August.  Go Ape is a must for teenagers.

Chatsworth House is one of the most recognisable buildings in the country.  What may be less well known is that it offers acres of landscaped gardens as well as a fantastic childrens’ farmyard and adventure playground.  Check the busy events diary for Chatsworth - the country fair, angling fair, horse trials, car rallies and outdoor concerts. www.nationaltrust.org.uk/events
