Sometimes you just have to celebrate!  Whether it’s a birthday, a forthcoming marriage, a family reunion or a wedding anniversary, getting everyone together for a weekend in the country means an event to remember for years to come.

Vicarage Farm Holiday Cottages is the perfect location to entertain groups of all sizes in style.   For a long weekend, or a full length holiday, your party can stay in the heart of the Peak District in a charming period residence.  Separate, (but joined) properties mean that your whole group can get together and also have personal space in their own cottage.  The largest cottage, Prince's Seat, sleeps 7, while Miller's View  and Verger's End both sleep 4.

When it comes to the main event, Prince's Seat can seat 15 for a formal meal or an informal buffet style event. We can provide additional tables and crockery to suit your needs. On a cosy winter’s night, the lounge with its real fire makes an atmospheric setting. Alternatively on a sunny afternoon, the gardens have beautiful views across the fields and are a relaxing place to entertain more informally.

The extensive gardens are a superb location for a garden party, with lots to keep younger guests amused. 

Catering in the cottage kitchens couldn’t be easier, but if you want to relax and have someone else do all the work we can recommend excellent local caterers who can provide top quality food and service if you need it.  Or why not get a delivery of pre-prepared buffet food direct to the door from one of the local specialist shops or national supermarket.

One final thought; finding accommodation of this size in the Peaks can be quite a challenge, so if you have a specific date in mind it’s worth booking ahead, as guests often book 12 months in advance.
