When it comes to the main event, The Vicarage can seat 25 for a formal meal or accommodate lots more ‘buffet style’. On a cosy winter’s night, the expansive drawing room with its real fire makes an atmospheric setting. Alternatively on a sunny spring afternoon, the conservatory, with lovely views of the grounds and local birdlife is a relaxing place to entertain more informally.
We’ve equipped the Vicarage with entertaining in mind so that you don’t have to worry about extra tables, chairs crockery, cutlery, tablecloths and serving dishes. It’s all there ready to create the perfect party setting, whether it’s inside or outside. Catering in the large farmhouse kitchen couldn’t be easier, but if you want to relax and have someone else do all the work we can recommend excellent local caterers who can provide top quality food and service if you need it. Or why not get a delivery of pre-prepared buffet food direct to the door from one of the local specialist shops or national supermarket. But just a final thought, finding accommodation of this size in the Peaks can be quite a challenge, so if you have a specific date in mind it’s worth booking ahead, as guests often book The Vicarage 12 months in advance. |
Vicarage Farm Holiday Cottages is the perfect location to entertain groups of all sizes in style. For a long weekend, or a full length holiday, your party of up to 25 can stay in the heart of the Peak District in a stunning period residence. Separate, (but joined) properties mean that your whole group can get together in the main house and also have personal space in their own cottage. The main house - The Vicarage, can sleep 10, the Princes Seat sleeps 7, the Millers View sleeps 4 and the Vergers End sleeps 4.
The extensive gardens are a superb location for a garden party, with lots to keep younger guests amused.
